Children face the same challenges today that adults do. They just simply do not get enough sleep! They end up on these heavy schedules with loads of homework and they simply get fatigued, demotivated and even too sick to think well!

Once your kid is off to school and therefore required to hit the books every day it is imperative that they get enough rest. A tired kid is not able to concentrate or think clearly and therefore the fatigue that follows is going to make them less of a success academically.

In order to do well in life your child needs at least eight hours of uninterrupted snoozing because it is during this time that the information that they have accumulated during the day is going to be assimilated by the brain.

The sad fact is that the more tired your child is the less likely he or she is going to be able to think clearly or remember anything that they learned during the day.

This is particularly true if you are taking your child through a learning exercise that requires them to go over in their head what they learned that day just before going to sleep. This is an exercise recommended by experts to help your child retain as much information as possible and having them retain what they have learned. This type of learning technique is apparently futile if your child is unable to get a full night's sleep.
