Mental health supports intelligence
A child that is happy and healthy and does not feel smothered or imprisoned by the obligation to learn is likely to do better on an IQ test. There are definitely ways to make learning less oppressive for your child. One way is to make sure that your child remains psychologically and mentally healthy by getting him or her enough rest and exercise. Yet another way is to stimulate your child in ways that have nothing to do with the "book learning" that is mostly associated with education and the acquisition of knowledge.
